What is Rush 56?
Rush 56 is a community-driven environment where kids connect with other 5th and 6th graders that are facing the same challenges they face. We believe it is important for kids to learn about faith and life through group instruction and experiential opportunities. What to expect at Rush 56 At each service the parent can expect for their child to be welcomed into the class by the teacher and encouraged to connect with other children in a small group. They will participate in small group activities, a large group Bible story, and other fast-paced, creative activities designed to reinforce faith and character. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want and tell God how much they love Him in our high energy worship service called "Jump". What you will learn at Rush 56 Your 5th & 6th grader is beginning to branch out and we desire to strengthen their trust in our loving heavenly Father. As an extension of what is taught during the 1st - 4th grade years, we believe it is still important for each child to embrace three basic truths as Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52. One of these basics truths is amplified each week through a curriculum which includes Bible stories, small group and large group creative activities. Each month a core virtue and one memory verse is the framework through which these truths are conveyed. Take home sheets provide parents an opportunity to interact with their children about what their child learned in class.
